Extensions/Provocations (Small Group, Learning Centres, Whole Group, Transitions): 
  • Loose Parts/Provocations (malleable materials): elastic bands, pipe cleaners, wire, wikki sticks (creating numbers)
    Prompt: Can you make 0 into another number?
  • Provocation: geoboards and elastics to create different numbers
  • Small Group: sorting, investigating magnetic numbers (ordering, curves, lines)
