Extensions/Provocations (Small Group, Learning Centres, Whole Group, Transitions):
- Small Group: Creating a classroom book (about zero)
- Game (small group or learning centres): How many do you hear? (using a tin can, drop jewels in and ask how many they heard - try dropping in zero)
- Number Line: add 0 to the class number line
- Game (whole group/transition game): Blast Off - counting backwards from 10 to 0. Student who gets 0 is out.
