  • Where else can we see this shape in the class?

After:
  • What else could you build?
  • What did you notice about the shape?

Extensions/Provocations (Small Group, Learning Centres, Whole Group, Transitions):
  • Provocation: Add book and small blocks to a table. Students can build structures from the text or their own.
  • Small/Large Group: encourage students to make shapes with their bodies or hands.
